What is White Island?
You were on holiday, far from home, in a small plane. Below you appeared a group of islands that wasn’t on any map. And someone shot at you. The plane sinks and you swim to the nearest island with nothing. No tools, no backpack and nobody to call. No one knows you’re there. You’re thirsty, you’re hungry, and night is coming whether you’re ready or not. White Island is a first-person survival game where you decide everything. How to drink, how to eat, where to sleep and how to get out of there. But those islands aren’t empty. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make sure nobody knows they exist. And you’ve just seen them.
What makes White Island unique?
There are no scripted actions here. There’s no list of things the game lets you do. There’s a world that works like the real one, with its weight, its edges, its fire, its water and its height, and whatever would make sense in real life makes sense here. That’s what JRS does, Just Real System, the system White Island is built on. Want a coconut? You can throw stones at it, climb up for it, cut down the palm tree or wait for it to fall. A shelter? On the ground, propped against a palm tree or underground, because you can dig. There’s no right way to do things. The only limit to getting something, or building it, is your imagination.
Can I play it yet?
Yes. Early access is already open and founders are already playing it while the game is still being made. They download each new version from their profile as soon as it’s out, and when the game is finished it’s theirs too.

What is a founder spot?
It’s getting into White Island while it’s being made and staying in for good. You play every version as soon as it’s out, with updates every week, you talk directly with the person making the game in the founder channels and, when it’s finished, the full game is yours. And those who are there from the start get benefits and perks that nobody who arrives later will have. The sooner you get in, the more you get.
Will there be multiplayer or co-op?
Yes, and it’s already in development. It’ll be shown in the community as it progresses, like everything else, and as soon as it’s in a version, founders will be the first to try it.
Does it have a story, or is it just survival?
Yes, and it’s what won’t let you put it down. Your plane didn’t crash. It was shot down. For the first few nights you only think about surviving, but little by little you realize things happen on these islands that nobody talks about. There are remains of people who were here before you. There are places better left alone. And there are those who’d rather you hadn’t made it out of that plane alive. Escaping the island isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning. Every island you set foot on brings you a little closer to the truth. And when you find it, you’ll have to decide what to do with it.
